Giving back one painting at a time.

In January of 2014, David Vobora, a 5-year veteran of the NFL, met US Army Staff Sergeant Travis Mills, a quadruple amputee. David opened up his personal gym to Travis, offering his training expertise. The pair started working out together, customizing and adapting to the unique challenges posed by Travis’ injuries. Through working with Travis and engaging the veteran community, David developed a passion for helping those with life-altering injuries find life-fulfilling adaptive performance training. David realized that, while there are many excellent rehabilitation programs as well as adaptive/Paralympic sports organizations, none existed to bridge the gap from basic functional rehabilitation to adapted sport. Adaptive Training Foundation (ATF) was conceived to fill this void. He continued helping adaptive athletes create sustainable lifestyle changes over the next six months, and by September of 2014, Adaptive Training Foundation had received its 501(c)3 status to allow outside support for these ambitious athletes. To this day, ATF is committed to keeping its services to adaptive athletes 100% free of charge, and relies on the generosity of people like yourself to not only restore lives, but empower them through movement. Children’s Parties

Stand Up & Paint is a great place to host a party for children.

  • Children will be guided step by step to create their own 8X10 masterpiece.
  • Simply choose a painting from our art gallery or we will work with you to create a customized work of art for your party.
  • Parties are designed for children 6-12 years old and will take 2-3 hours to complete.  This will include time for snacks and other party festivities.
  • Private Children’s Party will cost $25.00 per child or $35 per child for a customized painting.
Pin-It Parties

Are you always pinning amazing arts & crafts, but don’t have time or supplies?  We will help you and a group of your friends turn those pins into something amazing while having fun.

Here is how a Pin-It Party works:

  • Pin a board of a project you’d like to create (DIY/Crafts)
  • Share your idea through our website.
  • We will review your request and contact you.  We will take care of the supplies and will guide you with easy to follow instructions.
  • Approval of selected Pin-It Party project is determined by Stand Up & Paint.

We make it easy for you!  All you have to do is select what you want to create!

Corporate Events / Team Building

Looking for a way to bring a little fun to your team meetings and to increase social interaction amongst your coworkers? We have some great ideas!

  • Individual Paintings – Everyone will enjoy painting a picture selected by the host.
  • Collaborative Paintings – Guests will work in teams to create individual sections resulting in The Big Picture.
  • Tag Team Painting – Think musical painting.
  • Mystery Painting – The mystery unfolds with each brush stroke.
Parties To Go

Can’t bring your party to us?  Not a problem, we will come to you!  We will bring the painting / project supplies to your location.  We will provide step by step instructions to create a fun and memorable event.

Party Extras

Party Extras are designed to assist the party host. We can take care of the little things so you have more time to concentrate on the party.

Basic Party Package – $35

  • Party setup for up to 20 guests prior to arrival
  • Tablecloths, plates, napkins, cups, and forks
  • Additional time to continue with your celebration – $50/Hr

Premium Party Package – $55

  • Party setup for up to 20 guests prior to arrival
  • Tablecloths, plates, napkins, cups, and forks
  • 12 Helium balloons
  • Additional time to continue with your celebration – $50/Hr
